Where Do I Go When I Show Up?

There are two parking lots and you are welcome to park in either lot.  However, on the east side of the building, we have several guest parking spaces that we have created with you in mind.

From here most people enter the building through the main doors that are located under the awning.  These doors will take you into our foyer where you’ll find a greeter that can help with any questions you may have.  You’ll also find coffee and donuts in the foyer on Sunday mornings!

What to Expect

Worship
9:30am each Sunday we gather in the Auditorium for a time of worship, communion and teaching. In this service we worship acapella-using only our voices.  It is truly a beautiful experience. We also share in the Lord’s Supper each Sunday. Everyone is invited to participate in worship and the Lord’s Supper.

During worship, children are with their families but before the sermon each week, we dismiss our kids (ages birth through 2nd grade) for Children’s Worship. You can read more about this below.

After that age group has been dismissed, there is a sermon that is typically given by our preaching minister, Doug Page.  Worship concludes at around 10:30a.m. and is followed by bible classes for every age.

A Casual Atmosphere
We care about you, not what you’re wearing, so feel free to come in jeans or whatever is comfortable. Our dress code is simple: wear something. Come on in and sit wherever you’d like! We will not single you out publicly or ask you to say anything and we do not expect our guests to contribute financially.

You are, however, welcome to participate in the Lord’s Supper when the time comes to share that meal during worship.

A Fun, Safe, Environment For Kids
Kids are important to us, so we’ve created a place where they can learn about Jesus on their level.
Every Sunday during worship babies through 2nd grade children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. This group will be dismissed before the sermon.  Watch our video below to see the process for our "King's Kids".

At 10:30am, there are classes available for children and students ages birth through high school.

Classes and Children’s Worship are both led by adult volunteers that are background checked and active members of our church family.

A Family That Is Focused on Jesus
Part of the DNA at KCOC is that we are a family. We try to talk about Jesus in the hallways as much as we do during worship and commit to care for one another and walk with each other through all that life brings.

We will never do this perfectly but we will give our best effort.  We are also working to pay attention to the work of God in our city and world and be a part of that in whatever way we can. We believe that we are better followers of Jesus as we journey through life with other people.  We’d love to have you join us on the journey!
