Kaufman Church of Christ and Country Bible Church Trip to Israel - April 16-26, 2021

Have you ever had a desire to travel to Israel?

Have you wanted to:

  • See the land where Jesus was born, where he spent his entire ministry, where he died, and, "Hallelujah!” where he arose from the dead and ascended to be with the Father.
  • See the Sea of Galilee where he calmed the storm and walked on the water?
  • See the mount, now called the "Mount of Beatitudes,” where Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the Children of God."
  • See the Jordan River where he was baptized and a voice from a cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love: with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"
  • See the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus told the lame man, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." And he did!
  • See the Garden of Gethsemane where he prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
  • See all the places your Sunday School teachers told you about when we talked about Jesus.

Here is our opportunity! And not just to go, but to share the experience with our brothers and sisters, our family and friends, long acquaintances and new relationships. We will pray together, we will sing together, we may cry together, but we will definitely experience an adventure together. Broken hearts may be healed, and hardened hearts may be broken. Maybe, like the lame man, you will find healing there.

See details below.  The deposit will be $400 per person and is refundable up to 90 days before departure with a total trip estimate of $4500 per person.  You can email kaufmanisraeltrip2021@gmail.com with questions.

These types of trips are sometimes advertised as, "Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus." That is what we will aspire to do. We hope it will edify your soul, solidify your faith, and build up the body of Christ.

  • REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Fill out this registration form when you are ready to put down your deposit to reserve your spot. Currently, we have 50 spots arranged to be open for this tour. If all those 50 spots fill up, then we will work with the agency to try to open accommodations for more people. We would like for everyone who wants to go to be able to go.

Here are some things to notice on the registration form - it asks for your name as it appears on your passport. If you don't have a passport, you will need to get one. Currently, you have to have a passport to travel anywhere outside of the United States. For Israel, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months past the date of entry to Israel. For this trip, that means you need a passport that does not expire before Oct. 17, 2021. A passport is valid for 10 years, so if you've had one for a while, it might be good to check it so you're sure the dates are ok. If you don't have a passport, it's not that hard to get one. There is a link below that will guide you through the passport process.    Next to the boxes to check for Mr, Mrs, or Ms, there was no obvious blank provided to put your name. Fowler Tours will need you to provide your name as it appears on your passport. Just write it in that area next to those boxes. Don't worry if you forget. we are checking all the forms before we send them on to Fowler Tours. If some info is missing, you will be contacted to correct it.

On the registration form, you will notice a place to put the name of the person you will be sharing a room with. If you do not have a roommate and wish to have a room to yourself, the single room supplement is an addition $875. If you desire to have a roommate, but do not have one, there might be an opportunity to pair up with someone else who is planning to go and is in the same situation. These options can be discussed as we find out who else is planning to be on the tour. If you want to register and send your deposit, but do not have a roommate yet, just check the box that you will be sharing a room and put a question mark in the space where you would list their name. (Part of the adventure!)

Three people can share a room, but the cost per person is still the same. For more than 3 people, an additional room is required.

If you are planning to book airfare with the group, check the box concerning that. You only need to fill in the blank space if you will be starting your trip somewhere other than DFW.

Your deposit is fully refundable until 90 days before departure with a $200 penalty from 89 to 60 days before departure. All monies paid are subject to forfeiture after this time.

Final payment is due 75 days before departure. (I don't think they accept credit cards. I suppose it's checks, money orders or cash.)

The hotels for your Israel tour are reserved as follows:

April 17-18 Ramada Beach Resort in Hadera

April 18-21 Caesar Hotel in Tiberias

April 21-22 Daniel Hotel at the Dead Sea
