Dear Sisters,
We invite all ladies to be in prayer about your talents and gifts so that God can lead you to serve in the ministries offered now and those that are developing. All ministries are always ready to receive new servants seeking to do God's work. We welcome you and want to love you as God has received and love us. The Master's touch has been placed on all of us. We pray that you receive it, believe it and begin your journey with what God has set before you.
We ask all of you to be in prayer about God's work, God's servants and that we always take our direction from Him.
We love you with the love of the Lord.

A Brighter Today Ministry - Leaders, Beth Landrum & Lynn Howell Our purpose is to minister to women and their children who have fled from abusive relationships and have turned to the Genesis Center. We want to bring them Hope for A Brighter Today. It is our goal to show them Jesus by giving of basic need items and to build relationshis with these families with Christ as the foundation. We will teach a Bible study, have welcome bags for the women and stuffed animals for the children upon arrival at the center. We will be on call to pray and to study with anyone who need us.
Bread Ministry - Leaders, Pam Hart & Susan Liggett - The Kaufman Church of Christ would like to extend our brotherly love with a gift of bread and a scripture from the True Bread of Life. On Sunday mornings, we are going to share our bread with every visitor who walks through our doors in hopes that they will have the desire to come back and worship with us again. If you would like to be a part of the Bread Ministry, and enjoy the art of baking, we need volunteers to sign up on a monthly rotating schedule. There is a recipe available for the bread, if needed. "And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who come to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst." John 6:35
Making Memories / Faithbooking - Leader, Cindy Darragh - We will have drawers of photos. Some may even have thier photos in albums. Many of us have transferred our photos from the typical photo albums of the past to creative scrapbooks. We as Christians can now take scrapbooking one step further and create spiritual scrapbooks to remind us and others around us what God is doing in our lives. So we call it faithbooking. "Be very careful never to forget what you have seen the Lord do for you. Do not let these things escape from your mind as long as you live. And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren." Deuteronomy 4:9
Baby Blessings - Leaders, Crystal Brashear & Stefanie Reese - Knowing how God feels about the birth of children, we want to honor those of our congregation who are having babies. Women who host showers for our new mothers. "Don't you see that children are God's best gift?" Psalms 127:3
Hospital Snacks - Leaders, Andrea Smith & Narce Flores - Women from the church for several years now have maintained a basket of pre-wrapped snacks for a reminder that indeed someone does care about their care. The basket is filled each day of the week except Sunday and each lady serves once a month. "Religion that God, our Father, accepts as pure and faultless is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted from the world." James 1:27
Ladies Nights - Leader, Donna Junkersfield - We offer varied activities occuring three or four times during the year. We will learn new things, go places together, and encourage one another. Have fun and be refreshed with good Christian fellowship. "I will be able to come to you with a happy heart by the will of God, and we can efresh each other." Romans 15:32
MOLO (Mother's of Little Ones) - Leaders, Stefanie Reese & Crystal Brashear - This young mothers' ministry is targeted mainly to help meet the needs of mothers of preschool children through Spiritual growth, Bible study, play dates, new mother meals, date time with husbands and more. "If then the Lord and the teacher washed your feet, you also out to wash one another's feet. For I gave you an example that you should do as I did to you." John 13:14-15
Newletter - Leaders, Denise Farmer, Julie Mayo & Becky David - It's the FYI of what is going on in the different ministries. Getting to know each other by the articles presented on individuals and activities for the month. Also included are calendars, games, parenting techniques and suggested reading material.
Nursing Home Glamour Days - Leader, Helen Garrison - We meet every other Thursday from 8 a.m. til 12 noon. We style hair, polish nails and provide spirtual comfort. It's a great way to share your love and acts of kind service with a senior while doing the Lord's work. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galations 6:9
Prayer Ministry - Leader, Deborah Jordan & Julie Mayo - A time when the ladies come together once a quarter, in the evening, to pray about our country, our schools, our church and our families. "Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6
Helping Hands - Leader, Shaleena Reese & Alacia LeDoux - One of the ways ladies at church show their love to our church and family and others in this community is by their helping hands. In times of illness and grief, our ladies are always ready to bring food to meet great needs. The comfort of warm meals, cooked by loving sisters, fill our hearts with each bite. There is always room for more helping hands. "Sew your seed in the morning, and in evening let not your hands be idle..." Ecclesiastes 11:6
Sister to Sister - Leader, Needed - A group of four get together to help each other organize and clean clutter out of their lives while building relationships.
Prayer Partners - Leader, Needed - For two people who choose one day a week to come together to pray for each other's needs. Keeping each prayers in confidence.
Wedding Blessings - Leaders, Kim Johnson & Judy Allen - Knowing how God feels about marriage, we want to honor those of our congregation who are getting married. Women who host showers for newly weds. The leaders of this ministry provide the opportunity for our family to shower blessings of joy and gifts to our engaged couples by coordinating and planning wedding showers. Anyone interested in being a hostess for a shower, please contact Kim Johnson or Judy Allen. "Marriage should be honored by all." Hebrews 13:4
